Mission Statement

The Mission of the Lebanon Volunteer Fire Department shall be to provide Fire, EMSHaz-Mat and Mutual Aid for the preservation and protection of life, property and the environment from fire, medical and environmental emergencies within the Town of Lebanon and surrounding areas.

The LVFD Open House originally to be hosted on on Saturday, October 3, 2015 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, the Lebanon Volunteer Fire Dept.has unfortunately been cancelled, and postponed to the spring time due to inclement weather.

On Friday we had a surprise visit from Chief Daniel Meehan and FF/EMT Windy Rudnicki at Station 6. Chief Meehan is from the Lebanon Maine Fire/EMS Department. It was a great opportunity to meet and talk about the striking similarities between the two departments. The relationship between the 2 departments started when Deborah Dorey Wilson a local resident of Lebanon Maine accidentally tagged us in a post on her Facebook Page. Myself (Lt Schall) and Deborah and Chief Meehan have been communicating ever since. It was great to have them here in Lebanon South, and we look forward to heading up North to visit our firefighter family up there. As they were about to leave we were toned out for a call and the two were able to experience our House Siren going off which certainly brought great joy to them. It was a cool moment!! ...
